Got questions about our Mobile Attics?  We've got your answers!

CUSTOMER FAQ:

Q: Can I keep the Mobile Attic self-storage container at my place?
A: Absolutely.  Mobile Attic, is built on one simple principle: standard storage facilities that come to you and offer you the value of true convenience. In short, Mobile Attic portable self-storage provides you the luxury of keeping the Mobile Attic at your place or ours.

Q: Is there additional cost to have the container stored at a Mobile Attic facility?
A: Contact your local representative to see if there is an additional cost to store it at the Mobile Attic facility. It is always your option of whether or not you have the container moved to one of our secured storage facilities or keep it at your location.

Q: How is the storage container moved?
A: Our professional drivers will place your storage container on a standard rollback truck and deliver the container wherever you direct them.

Q: Is there a way for me to secure my possessions inside the storage container?
A: Yes. Each Mobile Attic storage container is designed with “A” Tracking so that your possessions can be securely strapped within the storage container.

Q: What size attics are available?
A: Mobile Attic storage containers come in a variety of sizes: 8’ x 8’, 8‘ x 12’, 8’ x 16’, 8’ x 20’. and 8‘ x 40’. For sizes in your area, please contact your local representative.

Q: How much will an 8’ x 16’ storage attic hold?
A: An 8’ x 16’ container should hold the average furnishings of a 3-bedroom, 1,500 square foot house.

Q: What is the monthly rent for an 8’ x 16’ storage container?
A: Delivery prices and monthly rentals will vary from location-to-location. For prices in your area, please contact your local Mobile Attic representative.

Q: Does the Mobile Attic come with moving and packing supplies?
A: Mobile Attic does provide moving and packing supplies that can be delivered to you inside your container; however, there is an additional fee for these items. Ask your local representative for these cost.

Q: Some customers are very strict about controlling the temperature in their storage container in order to prevent damage to their antiques. Are they correct?
A: No. According to George Read in his “Art & Antique Quiz” in the May 2003 issue of House Beautiful the customer has confused temperature and humidity. It is changes in the latter that cause both shrinkage and swelling. Humidity can easily be controlled by placing an inexpensive humidity control product in the storage container.  These products can help protect your belongings from the damaging effects of moisture.
