DO’S AND DON’TS OF PACKING
- DO label the contents on the outside of every box.
- DO pack your boxes full. Put the largest/heaviest on the floor with the lighter ones on top.
- DO practice safe lifting techniques, such as bend at the knees.
- DO strap heavy items down to minimize shifting and damage to your belongings.
- DO use about 4 inches of crumpled paper at the bottom of fragile items boxes.
- DON’T overload boxes with heavy items such as books.
- DON’T use newspaper to wrap fine china and other items that can’t be cleaned. Newspaper ink smears easily.
- DON’T pack candles. They melt!
- DON’T forget to wrap fragile items such as glass and mirrors in blankets.
- DON’T attempt to move or reposition the Mobile Attic. Call your representative.

WARNING: Do not store combustibles! Do not store items such as propane tanks, old paint, cleaning fluids, gasoline or other items that may intensify a fire.
